I post this text in the wake of the article in The Crimson about sexual assault on the Harvard campus. “Gender in Transition” is a preliminary version of chapters in my book, Intimate Enemies: Violence and Reconciliation in Peru.  I feel compelled to post this again as I read the vitriolic comment thread in The Crimson.
